It's the year of the Dragon. Celebrate the welcoming of the Lunar New Year with a performance of the traditional Lion Dance, on Dugong Island where our resident dugong, Pig, lives!
The Choy Lee Fut Lion Dance Team trains the Traditional Southern Lion Dance, which focuses on promoting good luck and fortune through traditional blessings and routines. These have been passed down by Master Chan Yong Fa, the 5th Direct Descendant of the Founder of the Style and one of the most highly respected masters for his knowledge of these traditional teachings.
