Kate and her family recently had an incredible time exploring the vibrant works of Vincent van Gogh at THE LUME Melbourne - Australia’s first permanent digital gallery. With vivid colours & intricate details, they went on a multi-sensory tour as the Dutch master’s world-renowned art came to life all around them.

Kate’s poppets enjoyed trying their hand recreating the glorious Starry Night, while the whole family loved the uniquely recreated Café Terrace 1888, with flavours of nineteenth-century France.

Kate’s little ones admired the beauty, sounds and visions of nature described and painted by Vincent Van Gogh. Kids and adults will love how this sensory exhibition showcases Van Gogh’s work and will immerse themselves in the art of this brilliant painter.

Kids can wander, play, dance, draw and relax as they experience the motions of art that is The Lume Melbourne. They can enjoy landscapes, animated canvases on every surface and on themselves as well as animated videos. A different way to experience and enjoy the arts.

There are no physical original works by Vincent van Gogh on display as the experience is not a traditional art exhibition. Scents are included in the Van Gogh experience: Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cypress, Vetiver, Lemon, Cedarwood, Wood Accord, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk. On until 30th June 2022 unless dates change.
