Follow the Werribee River Trail to find 12 life-size dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurs rex, Stegosaurus and more! Kate took her little dino lovers to Werribee Zoo to checkout this great school holiday activity and had an amazing day there! Thanks Kate for the great photos x Catherine

Dinosaur fans will love the realistic creatures brought to life through animatronics! Zoo rangers will be observing behaviours, taking notes and helping you interpret the unique movements and sounds of these prehistoric creatures!

There’s plenty of dinosaurs around the Werribee Zoo to choose a favourite or two! For extra dino fun, don’t miss the fossil digs that take place each day in the Dino Ranger research tent.

Zoorassic at Werribee Zoo is on from the 6th of April to the 14th of July 2019 from 9.00am to 4.30pm daily.

Dinopark at Melbourne Zoo is also on from the 6th of April to the 14th of July 2019 from 9.30am to 3.00pm daily. Be amazed this autumn as the dinosaurs take over Melbourne Zoo’s historic Carousel Park. The Zoo has teamed up with the creators at Erth Visual & Physical Inc to present Dino Park; a unique walk-through experience where you will see these prehistoric creatures come to life.

And don’t miss Megabeasts at Healesville Sanctuary also from 6th of April to the 14th of July 2019 from 9am to 5pm. A megafauna experience straight out of the ice age! Giant animals, called megafauna, once roamed the landscapes of Asia, Africa, Europe and North America more than 10,000 years ago. Don’t forget to visit the Nature Play Space area too if you’re visiting the Healesville Sanctuary. The Nature Play Space is nestled in the centre of the sanctuary with the new Pavilion Café and Reptile House just next door, our review here.

The experiences are included with Zoo entry. Kids under 16 visit FREE on weekends and school holidays. Members visit free every day.
